Attendance
Is attendance important?
Yes! Regular attendance is extremely important. Please make every effort to have your student at school on time every day. We can't teach them if they are not here. Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you need help.
Our goal is for students to miss no more than seven days this year.
What should I do if my child is absent?
Please send a note (written or typed) with your child when they return.
Parents may only send 3 written excuse notes per semester. After 3 parent notes, the child must bring a doctor’s note for any additional absences.
How will the school respond to absences?
After two absences, you will receive a call or message from your child's teacher. Please don't be worried or upset. We are just reaching out to see if there is anything you need.
